INDEXAR - Digital Repositories of Knowledge, is a platform that aims to manage information on national digital repositories and journals in the areas of science, technology and culture. This platform is the result of a Simplex+ measure led by the National Scientific Computing Unit of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCCN) and with the collaboration of the New University of Lisbon (UNL) and the Directorate-General for Books, Archives and Libraries (DGLAB).

About INDEXAR

INDEXAR is a directory of digital repositories and journals in the field of science, technology and culture. INDEXAR aims to be the authoritative source of information on national repositories and journals and to ensure, as interoperably as possible, their presence in international directories. Information on these resources includes, among other relevant information, their eligibility for compliance with legislation (e.g. legal deposit DL 115/2013) or policies/regulations (FCT open science policies).

Through INDEXAR you can access information on repositories or journals by area of activity, by type, by technology used, by subject, by type of content or by services available. It is also possible to consult statistical data on each resource or on the entire directory. All the information is made available in a structured way via the INDEXAR web interface or via a REST API which provides methods for a complete display of all the information made available.
