Located next to the Exhibition Area, in the Aeminium Hall, the Innovation Hub is the stage that gives participants a voice and promotes close dialogue on various topics.
Presentations take place during the event's breaks., and last 15 minutes. This intimate space strengthens relationships and promotes the exchange of opinions between the stage and the audience, providing space for questions and sharing.

May 6: Automation, Multimedia, and Collaboration
The Innovation Hub debuts with Carolina Fernandes, from GÉANT, whose presentation is titled "GÉANT Automation Platform: a journey from automating to orchestrating the GÉANT NREN's network operation." The session takes place during the event's lunch break and begins at 1:15 p.m.
Immediately afterwards, at 1:45 p.m., Fabrício Cunha, on behalf of FCCN, presents FCT's digital services, and how it is possible to process videos twice as fast. Nelson Dias of FCCN takes the stage with the theme "Sonification of scientific data, at 1:45 p.m., and then, João Carvalho, from the FCCN Multimedia team, presents “The wonderful world of Educast Recorder” on this stage at 2:00 pm.
During the afternoon break, Teresa Cardoso, on behalf of the Open University, brings to the stage the theme “Wikipedia, a serious example of collaboration?”, in a session starting at 4:15 p.m.
May 7th: Artificial Intelligence, digital skills and innovation
On the second day of the event, there will be 5 presentations taking place on this new stage. Right at 10:15 am, Sandra Martins from .PT talks about “Ponto Digital – Digital Skills and Jobs”.
During lunch, Lucas Sisau, in a joint presentation between Oracle and the University of Beira Interior, at 1:15 p.m., the presentation is titled: "From Zero to a Million: How I Got the First Million Downloads of My Open Source PHP Package." At 1:30 p.m., Porfírio Trincheiras, from Nova IMS, brings the topic of Artificial Intelligence to the Innovation Hub stage.
On behalf of ARDITI – Regional Agency for the Development of Research, Technology and Innovation, Carolina Sousa, presents the session entitled “PhD Program Companies”.
Still on the afternoon of May 7th, 4:15 p.m., Isabel Margarido, from UPDigital/University of Porto, takes over the session “iLab U.Porto – Innovation Platform for All”
On May 8th, Artificial Intelligence returns to the stage
At 10:15 am on the last day João Patrício, from the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, explains how to use “AI in the activities of Higher Education Institutions”
