#1 Sending up to 100 Gb
Filesender is a web application that allows authenticated users to send and temporarily store large files. The service has a maximum sending capacity of 100 Gb.
#2 Up to 100 recipients
Being the ideal solution for solutions in which the file you want to send is too large to be sent by email, Filesender allows sending to a total of 100 recipients.
#3 Available up to 60 days
In addition to sending, Filesender allows authenticated users to temporarily store large files. Once submitted, the file will be available for 60 days. Afterwards, the files are deleted and no backup is made.
#4 Security Assurance
User authentication is performed from the RCTSaai service, offering the security guarantee of the RCTS network*If your institution is not integrated into this network, you must request inclusion from your local IT services.
#5 Adapted to needs
Filesender was developed taking into account the specific requirements of the academic and scientific community, and is supported by other National Education and Research Networks worldwide: AARNet (Australia), HEAnet (Ireland), SURFnet (Netherlands) and UNINETT (Norway).
