Functionality launched in 2020 allows "facilitating the scheduling of teaching activities" and is available to all members of the Science, Technology and Society Network (RCTS).

As of 2020, Colibri now includes a Moodle integration feature. Thus, it is now possible to create Colibri sessions directly using LTI technology (Learning Tools Interoperability).

It becomes easier to schedule teaching activities, by creating and managing Colibri sessions without having to leave the Moodle platform. So far, 18 entities of the Science, Technology and Society Network (RCTS) are using this solution.

All entities interested in implementing this new feature can contact the Unit team at FCCN to request support for the installation. This contact should be made via colibri@fccn.pt.

Colibri is the synchronous communication platform managed by the FCT's FCCN unit, which enables videoconferences with up to 300 participants. Over the last year, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, this has been an essential tool for holding virtual classes, work meetings or online exams.
