On January 19th, the Portuguese Delegation and the European Commission will hold an information event and clarify all doubts about the Digital Europe Program.
In format webinar, the event starts at 2:30 pm and aims to support potential national candidates for the DIGITAL Program competitions and public administration entities that can benefit from the Program's community co-financing opportunities.
THE Digital Europe Programme is part of the European Union's 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework, a program focused on building the Union's strategic digital capabilities. It aims to boost digital innovation, disseminate and implement the best proposals, and advanced digital skills, as well as the development of European capacity in the areas of high performance computing.
It is important to identify national activities financed by the State budget, the Recovery and Resilience Plan or the Structural Funds, which align with the strategic objectives of the Digital Europe Programme and which can benefit from the available support, considering that EU co-financing will be allocated competitively between Member States and associated countries.
The program will boost investments in five specific objectives interrelated:
- High-performance computing (approximately €2,227 million);
- Artificial intelligence, data and cloud (approximately €2,062 million);
- Cybersecurity and trust (approximately €1,650 million);
- Advanced digital skills (approximately €577 million);
- Implementation, better use of digital capacity and interoperability (approximately €1,072 million).

THE agenda of the event is still temporary and the link for the sessions will be released in January.
