Until January 30, under the 2023 edition of the GÉANT innovation stimulus program, the community linked to national research and education networks can apply for funding. FCCN Unit invites its entire community to submit their projects. 

THE GÉANT Innovation Program (Innovation Programme) is back for its third year. The initiative provides funding of up to €30,000 for innovative projects implemented by its community. Eligible for funding include European national research and education networks—in Portugal's case, the FCCN—and all entities they serve (universities, research institutes, among others). 

To the applications are open until January 30th, with each project having a maximum duration of 5 months. The program is open to all areas of knowledge involved in the GÉANT community, such as: computer security, education, networks, or technologies. cloud. “The goal of this program is to support innovative ideas that come from our community,” explains GÉANT, on the program website.
