Undersea cable to link Europe and Latin America announced
The BELLA Consortium announced the formalization of agreements for the construction of a direct submarine cable that will connect Europe and Latin America. The entry into the European space will be made in Sines.

A further upgrade of RCTS access to the GÉANT network was carried out, with the connection now guaranteed at 40 Gigabits per second (Gbps).
