The sixth edition of the Research Data Management Forum (GDI Forum) will be held remotely on June 30th and July 1st, bringing together the community of professionals and researchers involved in research data management. Registration closes on June 25th.
June 30th and July 1st mark the holding of the 6th Research Data Management Forum (GDI Forum)The organization states that this edition will be entirely dedicated to the National Route Infrastructure, highlighting that, due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus, the event will be held online.
The objective for these two days of work is to to bring together and energize the community of professionals and researchersinvolved in activities supporting research data managementThis will enable us to develop technical skills and capitalize on knowledge by sharing experiences and best practices.
The specific focus on the National Roadmap infrastructures is also present in the sharing of the results of a survey carried out, aimed at the managers of the Roadmap infrastructures, with the aim of gathering information about their respective data management and service initiatives.
Likewise, the GDI Forum offers the opportunity to learn more about important initiatives in the area of research data management – such as ANDEuropean THEpen Science Cloud (EOSC), FAIR, OpenAIRE or GDR-PT.
This event is organized by the National Scientific Computing Unit (FCCN) of the Foundation for Science and Technology, in conjunction with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education and the University of Minho.
