The 11th GDI Forum, which will be held in person at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, will follow the model of previous editions, with a program that will last two days.

It is expected to carry out workshops technicians, sessions flash talks for demonstrations and presentations of projects and good practices, a Café com Dados and discussion panels on emerging topics, among other new features.

The annual GDI Forum event aims to bring together and energize the community of professionals and researchers involved in research data management support activities, with the aim of developing technical skills, capitalizing on knowledge and practices, and promoting knowledge about national initiatives.

It is a training and debate space for sharing ideas, emerging initiatives, projects and good practices to support research data management that seeks to bring together managers of digital repositories and data centers, information technicians, libraries, archives and data curators, computer specialists, researchers, data scientists and science managers from research institutions and science funding bodies.

All interested parties are invited to submit proposals for presentations (flash talks and posters) until September 11th.

The event is organized by the FCT, through FCCN – FCT Digital Services, and the University of Minho, and is promoted as part of the activities of RCAAP – Open Access Scientific Repositories of Portugal. The 11th GDI Forum is part of the investment RE-C05-i08 – More Digital Science, financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).
