There are about three months left until the FCCN Conference 2025, which take place from May 6th to 8th, in Coimbra, with the close support of University of Coimbra and the Coimbra City Council.
In this time of anticipation, it is important to recall the opinion of those who attended the last edition of this meeting of the national academic and research community.

In 2024, the FCCN Conferences had 35 sponsoring entities, in the area of Information Technology associated with the Knowledge sector, with Axians being one of the companies present. Tiago Farias, Account Executive from Axians, shared that the FCCN Days are “a great moment of networking, not only with the academic community, but also with partners and competitors. A favorable environment to leverage business and direct our solutions toward this community." "In 2025, Axians hopes to once again participate and pursue this path alongside the academic community," he concludes.
The community served by the digital services of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), developed by FCCN, also shared its feedback about the meeting. To Ana Migueis, librarian responsible for the Integrated Management Services and Systems Area at the University of Coimbra, “The Journeys are a very important moment to bring communities together and where there is always an aspect of communication and connection between people.”
Already Pedro Marques, Systems Administrator at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the New University of Lisbon, shared that over the years, he has been attending the meeting to stay up-to-date on what's happening in the RCTS community, exchange experiences, and understand the current state of the Information Technology field. "It's always pleasant to be with other colleagues who perform the same roles and exchange experiences. We come to realize that their problems are similar to ours, and we learn how we can address and resolve these issues."

Registration for the 16th edition of the initiative is still open, so anyone interested can reserve their place at registration platform.
Until March 14th, any student, researcher, teacher and employee of a Higher Education or Research Institution belonging to the RCTS can submit a application for the Community Zapping session, which took place on the second day of FCCN Conference 2025This way, you can present an innovative project or work on the event's main stage.
