THE PUB IN Meeting – journals and scientific communication for open science -, takes place on June 19, in Lisbon. This is an event organized by the Foundation for Science and Technology, through the FCCN unit, and by the University of Minho, as well as financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
This 1st PUB IN Meeting aims to bring together the national publishing community with the aim of developing technical skills, capitalizing on knowledge and promoting the sharing of good practices within the field of open science.
The initiative arises within the scope of the support activities of PUB IN, a national initiative to promote intelligent, innovative and integrated publications.
Workshops and flash talks are highlights of the initiative
To be held at LNEC – National Civil Engineering Laboratory, the program includes the holding of workshops technicians and sessions flash talks for demonstrations and presentations of experiences. The day will also feature a panel discussion on emerging topics.
As such, it aims to be a space that brings together editorial teams to enhance their skills. Open debate and the sharing of ideas, emerging initiatives, and projects related to scientific and academic publishing will also be part of the meeting.
