On April 11th, the new FCCN logo was presented, revealing a rebranding that brings it closer to the image of Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). With this renewal, the FCCN unit will now assume the name: FCCN, FCT digital services.
This agency work Meta Creative Agency, represented by Bruno Brás, reinforced the identity connection to the FCT and the motto “Technology for knowledge”. The new image highlights FCCN's commitment to providing and developing digital services that enhance connectivity and knowledge among the academic and research community in Portugal.
The objective was to reinforce FCCN's identity, transforming it into a brand umbrella stronger and more cohesive, which enhances the synergy between its various digital services. All this, through a modern personality and minimalist design.
The colors of the new identity – black and white -, are inspired by the language of computing, based on a binary code 0-1, which reveals, once again, a approach to FCCN's work areas. The FCCN brand also now functions, in certain contexts, only with the “stamp” F, a strategy that enhances simple, impactful and immediate identification.

THE The presentation to FCCN employees was made by FCCN's General Coordination, João Nuno Ferreira and Salomé Branco, followed by the presentation of the agency that developed the new image, Meta Creative Agency.
The implementation of the rebranding It is phased in and applied to all digital platforms managed by FCCN. In the future, it will be extended to the image of each digital service.
