All students can still register for the Arquivo.pt 2024 Prize. The last day to submit work is May 6th.

The initiative goes beyond educational institutions, extending to all interested parties who wish to register, regardless of their professional status or educational level.

€15,000 in prizes

In total, the Archive Award has €15,000 to recognize works and projects that use the information preserved by this service. Foundation for Science and Technology, developed through the FCCN unit

Even though it is not limited to the academic world, the opportunity is unique for national students., whether they belong to primary and secondary education or higher education, with no restrictions on participation. The work can be carried out individually or in groups, and must be accompanied by a text and a short video, in order to describe what was done.

1st place – €10,000 

2nd place – €3,000

3rd place – €2,000

Honorable mentions

In this edition, there will also be awards three honorable mentions. The first is the responsibility of the media partner of the initiative, the Público newspaper, and which will be destined to works focused on the contents of this publication preserved in the Arquivo.pt.  

The consortium Aveiro Media Competence Center (AMCC) will also award an honorable mention, this time to projects on the online media Portuguese. Finally, the DNS.pt Association (.PT) will reward teachers who encourage students to apply for this award.  

Over the last six years, the Arquivo.pt Prize has awarded almost €100,000 in prizes, recognizing innovative projects. The distinguished works are characterized by the diversity of areas to which they belong – Education, History, Sociology, Communication, Health or IT are some examples.
