THE workshop, which takes on a hybrid format, registration is mandatory and is aimed at all those who want to learn about and align their activities to benefit the national 2030 Agenda. 

Since 2018, ADB, Libraries for Development and the 2030 Agenda, and DGLAB, Directorate-General for Books, Archives and Libraries, have promoted the award “Libraries: Development and the 2023 Agenda”. This recognition is aimed at projects developed by Portuguese public libraries, following the guidelines of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.  

Event program 

During the afternoon of May 27th, at Torre do Tombo, in Lisbon, there will be several moments that make up the initiative.  

The program begins with a review of the “Libraries: Development and the 2030 Agenda” Award, followed by a session in which the Previous winners will share their experience.   

There will also be a panel on “How to develop projects within the scope of the SDGs and in Libraries”, as well as a session on award applications.
