THE Estúdio, from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), at FCCN, is one of the most requested digital services for providing the community with a space with advanced equipment for the production of high-quality multimedia content.

THE FCCN, the FCT's digital services unit, wanted to hear from its community, particularly those who regularly use the Studio. To that end, it spoke with Madalena Martins, from the Business Nature.

What type of content do you use the Studio for most?

At Business as Nature, we use the Studio primarily for creation of training and educational content that supports women entrepreneurs in the field of sustainability, more specifically for our Guardians of Nature program, part of the Women's Climate Movement. This Network of Women Guardians of Nature aims to involve and empower women as guardians and advocates of sustainability in the various protected areas of our country, promoting sustainable entrepreneurship through initiatives that enhance the value of the territory and promote biodiversity.

The FCCN Studio has been fundamental in raising the quality of the training we want to give these women, with the creation of high-quality videos that combine presentations in Power point and oral explanations. This type of content is ideal for our audience, facilitating understanding and retention of information on the topics covered.

In the future, with the availability of content on the NAU platform, the way the training is conducted, the interactions our trainees can have with the resources provided, as well as the interaction between peers is, without a doubt, an evolution for this training program and for the Network we are building. Simply put, the Studio and the work we have developed together contributes to the achievement of our training mission, so that the women who are part of our Guardian Network canlearn to manage their own businesses in an ethical, sustainable and socially responsible manner, which contributes not only to their independence, but also to the success of their communities.

To what extent has the Studio contributed to the development of your Business as Nature projects?

The Studio has been crucial to the development of our projects, especially in creating educational content that impacts women's lives. who participate in our training programs. The professional quality of the recordings allows us to communicate more effectively, appealingly, and accessibly, which is essential for ensure that the knowledge and information we are sharing is absorbed and understood, thus increasing the impact of our actions.

With the Estúdio we have been able to expand the reach of our training programs, allowing for more editions, allowing participants to complete the training at their own pace while balancing their personal lives, and allowing women in more remote communities or across time zones to access the content more easily in the future. This flexibility is vital for Business as Nature, as we can create more educational materials and share our initiatives with a wider audience, thus creating a greater impact.

What are the main advantages you find in the Studio?

The main advantages of the Studio are, as we have already mentioned, professional recording quality, the ability to integrate audio and visuals, and the efficiency of the processThe technical quality of the videos produced allows our training to have a greater impact and be more easily digested by participants. The ability to record complex content in a clear and organized manner is another positive. Access to well-produced materials, which reflect Business as Nature's seriousness and commitment to training, aims to increase participants' motivation to remain involved and bring their projects to fruition.

Furthermore, the The working environment at the Studio is very comfortable and familiar, without ceasing to be productive, which facilitates uninterrupted and focused recording. Finally, without the technical support available in the studio, none of this would have happened. It's the technicians who resolve any unforeseen issues quickly and efficiently, giving us the freedom to re-record content until we're satisfied with the result.

The Studio's greatest asset is not only in the technical space, but mainly in continuous support of a technical team that allows us to maximize the potential of the human resources involved in the recording processThe experience of recording in a professional environment strengthened the confidence of all our team members, from the trainers to the women participating in the training. This process also enabled the development of new skills within our team: by using the Studio and with the support of the FCCN team, we were able to introduce new work tools to our collaborators and trainers to create more engaging and dynamic materials. This continuous learning process directly reflects on the women we are empowering, as the social impact goes far beyond the content—it can positively impact these women's lives, helping them develop skills for financial independence and sustainable entrepreneurship.
