Ffunctionality launched in 2020 allows “facilitating the scheduling of teaching activities” and is available to all members of the Science, Technology and Society Network (RCTS).

Starting in 2020, Colibri included Moodle integration functionality. This means it is now possible create Colibri sessions directly using LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) technology.

This makes it easier to schedule teaching activities, by creating and managing Colibri sessions without having to leave the Moodle platform. To date, 18 entities from the Science, Technology and Society Network (RCTS) are using this solution.

All entities interested in implementing this new functionality can contact the FCCN Unit team, requesting support for installation. This contact must be made via colibri@fccn.pt.

Remember that Colibri is the synchronous communication platform managed by the FCT FCCN Unit that allows videoconferences with up to 300 participants. Over the past year, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, This has been an essential tool for conducting virtual classes, work meetings or online exams.
