The meeting of the community served by the FCT FCCN Unit will take place in Leiria, from April 21st to 23rd.
The Scientific Computing Conferences are the annual meeting point for the diverse communities of managers and users of advanced communication, computing, data and other digital services platforms provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology.
Over the course of three days, topics related to the areas of activity of the FCT Scientific Computing Unit will be discussed: Connectivity, Computing, Collaboration, Knowledge and Security. See the full program here.
The event is aimed at those responsible for IT, library, documentation and/or archive services at Higher Education Institutions, decision-makers and institutional leaders of these institutions and those responsible for the execution of science and research units.

In 2019, the Scientific Computing Conference registered 498 registrants and 381 participants. This increase is in line with the trend of recent years. Compared to the 2016 edition, for example, the Scientific Computing Conference more than doubled the number of registrations in 2019.
