Between May 31st and June 2nd, the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu will be the meeting point for the community served by the FCCN Unit, during the Scientific Computing Days 2022.
The city where the event will take place is already known. annual conference that serves as a meeting point to all those involved in providing advanced infrastructure and services to the higher education and research community. Viseu will host the 2022 edition of this initiative, with the close support of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu.
The event will take place from May 31st to June 2nd. During these three days of work, the FCCN Unit's activities will be highlighted, specifically the topics related to each of its pillars: Connectivity, Computing, Collaboration, Knowledge, Security and Innovation.
The program includes technology presentations, plenary sessions, working meetings, and workshops, as well as a more cultural program on the first evening, and the now-customary Jornadas dinner on the evening of the second day of work. In total, it is estimated that approximately 400 people will participate in the event over the three days of work.
This will be the 13th edition of the Scientific Computing Conference, an event that, since 2011, has brought together the FCCN Unit community to share the main news regarding their projects and services, as well as the most relevant trends in their respective areas of activity.
