Submarine cable linking Europe and Latin America announced
The BELLA Consortium announced the formalization of agreements for the construction of a direct submarine cable connecting Europe and Latin America. The cable will enter the European territory in Sines.
Registration for TNC19 is now open
The conference, which brings together hundreds of members of the GÉANT community, will take place between 16 and 20 June 2019, in Tallinn, Estonia.

Expanded education network increases capacity
As of April 1, the Science, Technology and Society Network (RCTS) began ensuring the connection of the Extended Education Network (RAE) to the internet at 40Gbps.
