The Foundation for Science and Technology opens a new competition for the awarding of Doctoral Scholarships. This time, its digital services unit FCCN is on the list of recipient entities.

To the applications for the competition are open From March 17 to April 16, 2025, interested parties must submit their application and present their ideas for research projects.

FCCN, FCT's digital services, seeks to welcome doctoral students who develop research activities linked to artificial intelligence, advanced computing, open science, data analysis and Big Data, networks, cybersecurity, automation and law.

Candidates must be enrolled, or meet the conditions to enroll, in a cycle of studies leading to a doctoral degree and have innovative ideas for research projects aligned with FCCN's strategic areas.

The assignment of these Doctoral Scholarships results from an investment by the FCT in a specific application line for Non-Academic Environment, which aims to strengthen links between academia and various social and economic agents, through research.
