João Moraes Palmeiro and Executive Director of the Aveiro Media Competence Center (AMCC), the entity responsible for awarding an Honorable Mention of the Arquivo.pt Award 2025.   

One month after the opening of applications for the distinction awarded by Arquivo.pt, digital service of Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), developed through the FCCN, the representative of the AMCC shared the importance of this partnership in enhancing online content and developing best practices.

According to João Moraes Palmeiro, “Collaboration with the Arquivo.pt Award is very important for the Aveiro Media Competence Center because we firmly believe in the importance of preserving and promoting digital memory.”. He also highlights that the partnership between the two entities allows us to contribute to “the valorization of online content, ensuring that the history of communication and average is accessible to present and future generations”.  

This is not the first edition of Arquivo.pt Award which counts with the participation of AMCC and its executive director reveals the benefits of being associated with this project, which includes “connecting with professionals in the field, developing good practices in digitalization and promoting innovative projects that use technology to preserve the history of average”.
