From May 16 to 18, the Lisbon Congress Center will host one of the largest national events dedicated to scientific advancement and the production of new knowledge, promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology, in collaboration with Ciência Viva.

The motto “Building the Future with Science” is the premise of this meeting, a debate forum that allows the sharing of the main research topics, with the presentation of new initiatives and the following projects managed by Unit FCCN: RCTS100; NAU Platform; Arquivo.pt; b-On; RNCA and European Open Science Cloud. They are all inserted in the Science, Technology and Society Network, which ensures daily collaboration between the various partner entities.

Throughout the event, we have different types of sessions, from plenary sessions to thematic sessions, as well as demonstrations and posters.online.  
Helena Pereira, President of the FCT; Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Science of Egypt; and Elvira Fortunato, Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, are some of the keynote speakers at the opening of the event. 


We found the FCCN Unit in a session dedicated to Digital Services to Support Science, with the moderation by João Preto Gomes (Director of Advanced Services Area at FCT|FCCN). 
Monday, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, in Room 4A, We are counting on everyone to present the project RCTS100, by Ana Pinto, Director of Network Services at FCT|FCCN, followed by the presentation of NAU Platform, one of the FCCN Unit's digital services that is increasingly asserting itself in the market e-learning, by Pedro Cabral, Project Manager. 

Still on this panel, we can watch the presentation of b-On, Online Knowledge Library supporting academic communities and also the project European Open Science Cloud, defended respectively by João Mendes Moreira, Director of the Scientific Knowledge Area of the FCT|FCCN & João Cardoso, Science Manager in the Scientific Knowledge Area of the FCT|FCCN. 
 
THE NAU Platform will also be highlighted in the session dedicated to INCoDe.2030 Projects (Auditorium 3 – 3:30pm-5:00pm). 

Tuesday, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, in Room 4A, it's time for National Computer Network Advanced take the stage, moderated by Eng. João Nuno Ferreira and presenting the 2021 and 2022 computing competitions, by João Pagaime, RNCA Manager. 


What will be different in 2022? This year's edition has a particular impact: in addition to celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Foundation for Science and Technology, Monday also marks the World Scientist Day, with tributes from Prime Minister António Costa in the plenary sessions.
The event also has the institutional support of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education.
