Until January 30, under the 2023 edition of GÉANT's innovation stimulus program, the community connected to national research and education networks can apply for funding. FCCN Unit invites all its community to submit their projects.
GÉANT's Innovation Programme is back, in what will be its third edition. The initiative guarantees funding of up to 30 thousand euros for innovative projects carried out by its community. Included as eligible for funding are the European national research and education networks - in Portugal's case FCCN - and all entities served by them (universities, research institutes, among others).
Applications are open until January 30th, and each project can have a maximum duration of 5 months. The program is open to all areas of knowledge involved in the GÉANT community such as: cybersecurity, education, networking or cloud technologies. "The goal of this program is to support innovative ideas coming from our community," explains GÉANT, on the program's website.
Over the last two years, GÉANT has been driving this innovation support program, supporting dozens of projects across Europe. You can learn more about the various funded initiatives by visiting a webpage created by GÉANT to showcase these innovative actions.
